Participants in the 8th National Al-Furqan Quranic Competition affirmed that the competition establishes a continuous path in memorizing the Holy Quran.
The competition is organized by the Women's Quran Institute, affiliated with the Office of the Senior Official of Women's Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.
Doha Hussein Helou, who has memorized all parts of the Holy Quran, stated that her participation in the competition stemmed from her desire to maintain and continuously review what she had memorized. She emphasized that for her, participation was not solely about the competition's outcome, but rather an opportunity to solidify her memorization and refresh her memory.
For her part, contestant Maryam Ahmed Sadiq explained that her qualification for the national competition came after completing the memorization of the entire Holy Quran. She noted that the competition serves as an encouraging and supportive incentive to engage with the words of Almighty Allah, as it provides an atmosphere that motivates memorizers to review and continue memorizing.
Similarly, participant Ayat Subaih explained that the competitive atmosphere motivated her to increase her review and preparation, affirming her determination to continue memorizing the Holy Quran until she completes it entirely.
